July 31st game against Stratford 3

A warm night in Stratford for game #12.

We started off strong in the first half with goals by Georgia and Kate G. (2).....we played really smart soccer and with a bit of luck we would have went to halftime up by 5 or 6.

In the second half we let up slightly and on a messed up play Stratford scored bring them to within 2 but that was as close as they would get.

Without their keeper it would have been 7-1 or 8 -1 rather than the 3-1 which is how it finished.

Mikayla wasn't tested too much but was sharp when needed.

Good work girls.

Next up on the 7th is our sister team Summerside1 who will be a strong test.

As we are close to the end of the season I  want "EVERYONE" at  all practices from here on out.

A win next week and we will finish in first and receive a first round bye in the playoffs.
